Always wanted to try scuba diving?

Are you interested in learning to scuba dive? Why not start with a try dive! All you need is some swim kit and a sense of adventure, we’ll supply the rest. Take the plunge. You won’t regret it.

What is a Try Dive?
This consists of a safety brief on the Use of the SCUBA equipment, then a pool session with one of our Instructors. We start around 8.30pm until 9.30pm. Location King Henry VIII School Swimming Pool, Warwick Road, Coventry, CV3 6AQ,

What does it cost?
It cost £10 per person.

How old do I have to be to a Try Dive?
12 Years old for the try dive (with parents on the night) and 16 to start a full training course with our club. Basically any age as long as you are confident in water and reasonably agile.

What do I need to bring?
Swimwear, Towel, Old T-Shirt, money, Mask and Fins if owned. All other equipment is supplied by CSAC.

What time do I need to be at the pool?
Please try and arrive around 7.40pm and you will be met by a member of CSAC. From the car park in Spencer Ave, go under the bridge and the pool entrance is on the left at the far end.

Can my partner or family come along and watch or have a swim using the pools available during the evening of the Try Dive?
Partners and family are more than welcome to watch during the evening.

Do I have to fill in any forms before I dive?
Yes – For insurance and safety purposes we have a Try – Dive Disclosure form
