About us

Coventry Sub Aqua Club celebrates its 60th Anniversary in 2018

Founded in 1958, Coventry Sub Aqua Club is a large, friendly diving club open to all: whether you are currently unqualified and looking to learn, already a qualified BSAC diver or joining us from another diving organisation, we’d be happy for you to pay us a visit.

Though we are situated roughly in the centre of England, several hours’ drive from the sea, our members go on diving trips in the UK and abroad every year. Recent visits in the UK include Anglesey, Capernwray, Cornwall, the Farne Islands, NDAC and Stoney Cove. Outside Britain, our members have also visited dive sites in Lanzarote, Malta, Cyprus, Egypt, the Maldives and Thailand.

Our club is a branch of the British Sub Aqua Club, the largest diving club in the world. A BSAC diving qualification is recognised internationally and BSAC’s courses are renowned for their quality and safety. If you join our branch, you can take a BSAC course and be taught by our qualified BSAC instructors.

Our club meets on Thursday nights at the swimming pool of the King Henry VIII School in Coventry.
