The seals were out on show for members of the Coventry Sub Aqua Club as they paid a visit to Seahouses for a weekend of diving around the Farne Islands.

Fifteen divers made the five-hour drive from Coventry to Seahouses to dive at a site popular with clubs and branches across the UK.

For some in the group, this was their first experience diving from a boat. It can be a lot take in when it is your first time – when to arrive on site, how to board and move diving gear on and off the vessel, how to signal where you are to the skipper waiting for you on the surface – but it is always easier in good company and with experienced divers around you.
