Members of Coventry Sub Aqua Club enjoyed excellent weather on the club’s latest visit to Stoney Cove in July 2022.

For some, it was a day of pleasure diving, but other divers spent the day progressing through their BSAC courses. For three of our newest members, all below the age of sixteen, this was their first chance to dive outside of a swimming pool as they attempted the first and second lessons of the BSAC Ocean Diver course.

By the end of the day, several Coventry members had made progress toward achieving their next BSAC qualifications.

We appreciate those club members who came along to offer support from dry land, whether that involved marshalling, lifting heavy equipment for our younger divers, photography or bringing the odd diver a hot chocolate or two.
